Granite statue of a Kushite/Nubian

This is a fragment of a statue representing one of the traditional enemies of Egypt. Kushites or Nubians came from Sudan. The top of the head which is now missing suggests that this piece was part of a group that originally showed the King of Egypt holding the hair of his enemies and striking them; known as a smiting scene.
