We are keen to engage in research to build our understanding of the impact of museum collections and programmes on learners and audiences, and to investigate and develop our practice as educators. We welcome opportunities to collaborate with researchers in fields such as museum studies, cultural policy, education, health and wellbeing. Current research interests include:
- the impacts of different pedagogical approaches on children and young people’s learning;
- the health and well-being benefits of cultural engagement;
- the links between cultural learning, attainment and engagement for children and families from disadvantaged backgrounds.
